We are thrilled to announce that during the in-cosmetics Global event, LignoGuard® was awarded not just one, but two prestigious awards. In addition to receiving an in-cosmetics Global award, our LignoGuard® SPF Booster was also honored with the BSB Innovation Award in the Natural Ingredient category.

BSB was founded in 1998 and offers consultancy services in the field of chemistry and technology focusing on chemical raw materials and cosmetics. BSB is also active in doing trend and market research. The BSB Innovation Award was established by Dr Jan-H. Riedel, the founder of BSB, in 2003. The award, supported by the industry, aims to inform about the latest innovations on a global level. 

LignoGuard® was awarded the prize for a “Very interesting story combining upcycling, natural sourcing combined with a broad scope of use.“ We are truly honored by these kind words. 

LignoGuard®: Sustainability and Versatility 

LignoGuard® is manufactured from upcycled, biomass lignin. It is of 100% natural origin according to ISO16128. The lignin is sourced from modern biorefineries that primarily use upcycled biomass originating from European wood processing residues.
