Business Developer (Permanent or Internship)
Lignovations is an award-winning Austrian startup on a mission to replace harmful chemicals in consumer products with a bio-based alternative made from biomass lignin. About the Role
You will work directly with a co-founder to grow the business with a focus on the cosmetics industry. In this role you will take ownership of diverse projects to develop the company and gather valuable insights into the daily business of building a technology startup.


Responsibility
- Create awareness about the company & product via marketing campaigns (e.g. identification of relevant channels, touch points, stakeholders, and messages)
- Conceptualization and creation of communication material such as blog posts, press releases, visuals etc.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish contact with new customers and distribution partners
- Participate in international trade fairs to market our products
- Translate customer feedback into actionable recommendations


Your profile
- Affinity for engineering, physics, or chemistry
- Previous experience in business development, marketing, or sales
- Track record showing structured approach and results-orientation
- Handle a high degree of ownership and self-management
- Very good verbal and written English skills (German not required)

Hybrid work possible (up to 2 days remote per week)
- Austrian law requires us to state the minimum salary of the collective agreement which is 37,941€/year for this position. We offer a higher salary based on qualification. The internship salary is fixed at 1,500€/month.
