LignoGuard® Wins Prestigious in-Cosmetics Global Award in Green Ingredient Category

We had an amazing time at in-cosmetics Global! Our booth was bustling with activity, and we had a lot of amazing conversations with industry professionals from all over the world.  

But the event’s highlight was winning the in-cosmetics Global Award in the Green Ingredient category.  

In-cosmetics Global Awards 

Known as the “Oscars of the industry”, this year’s in-cosmetics Global Awards saw a record number of entries. The award ceremony took place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on April 16, 2024. 

Entries were evaluated by a panel of 40 experts from leading organizations, including Kenvue, Ecovia Intelligence, Unilever, Coty, and Haleon. We’re proud to announce that our multifunctional cosmetic ingredient, LignoGuard® Aqua 20, made from upcycled lignin, was awarded the bronze award in the Green Ingredient category.

LignoGuard® was recognized for its bio-derived functionalities, such as potent SPF boosting, antioxidant, and emulsion stabilizing properties. 
 
Our Head of Business Development, Victor Tibo, expressed his pride in the award and noted the huge interest we received during the in-cosmetics fair. This indicates that there is a growing need for upcycled, natural, and multifunctional ingredients. „We are thrilled to receive this award, which recognizes our commitment to sustainable cosmetic ingredients and their enormous potential in the beauty industry,“ said Tibo.
